Potomac Computer Systems
The company was started by Tim Sweeney in 1991. At the time of founding Epic Games, Sweeney was a student at the University of Maryland, where he was studying mechanical engineering. He used to work in his leisure time. At his parent’s house, he started Potomac Computer Systems.
